Or rather, not turnips, but small burrowing creatures pretending to be turnips for reasons unknown and likely nefarious. Found in poorly weeded vegetable plots and monsters’ lawns. They’re probably spies. DO NOT EAT.

Deer. Oh yes. Tremendously destructive. This winter they have even chewed a wooden bird feeder to get at the seeds. I mean shredded. Ugh. Maybe the non-turnips could scare the deer…
