As I’m sure you know there really is a moth called an ear-moth (although sadly it’s a bit boring and doesn’t look nearly as cool as that). Also an acquaintance of mine once had a moth get stuck in his ear whilst he was moth trapping and had to go to the hospital to have it removed. It wasn’t an ear-moth though.
