Colouring!
So my nieces know that I have made a colouring book (and have, indeed, coloured in their very own); and we often colour each others’ drawings; so what better Christmas present than my very own Niece-Made Colouring Books? They worked really hard too to make them properly colourable, outlining all the fiddly bits for me!
They also know I like creatures with MANY eyes, so here is possibly the happiest spider I have ever seen.

Happy New Year to one and all! Please welcome 2017’s iteration of the Greater Variant Plomp, a sweet little creature who takes the phrase ‘New Year, New You’ rather literally (2016-Plomp had bat wings, one eye and whiskers) and likes to nest in the hair of humans who have made too many resolutions to be feasible – you know who you are.
Very Merry
Woohoo, holidays – I’m switching off my computer for a few days now, so Merry Christmas! Or Happy Holidays. Or Season’s Greetings, though I generally find ‘hello’ works all year round. And I prefer the word “merry”. Hm. Ok, second try: Merry Christmas, and if you don’t like Christmas then I hereby wish you a Very, Very Merry.
